Grant Purpose:
Recruiting the minimum number of schools has been an ongoing challenge in Kansas. In attempting to find ways to get more schools to participate, the leading challenge is that schools do not see a benefit from allowing the surveys to be conducted, thus the lack of motivation to provide class time for survey administration.The purpose of this grant is to provide resources-in the form of $500 incentive payments to persuade schools to participate in the YRBS survey.
