Grant Purpose:
for the 'Shaken Baby Syndrome Campaign' will help serve parents of newborns in Sedgwick County. This abuse prevention program includes printed information, an educational DVD and steps for parents to follow so they can develop resilience to the frustration they may face because of a crying infant. The program also intends to help parents educate their babies’ caregivers about the serious effects of shaking a young child.
