Grant Purpose:
for the 'Operation Medicine Cabinet' project will help educate state residents about how to dispose of unused medications in an environmentally sound way such as a community collection program. It’s hoped that this program will reduce the drain-disposal of medications that can contaminate water supplies. Funding for this project will include distributing posters in pharmacies and medical offices about proper disposal methods.
