Making a Genuine Impact in Children (M.A.G.I.C.)

for the 'M.A.G.I.C.' (Making a Genuine Impact in Children) project is designed to help expand the program’s one-on-one mentoring services for about 925 children across the state who live in single-parent homes. This grant is primarily intended to fund background checks for these new mentors. Mentors can help prevent unhealthy behaviors, including substance abuse and delinquency, among these children by modeling healthy behaviors and encouraging good decision-making.
