Grant Purpose:
The Foundation works to promote the healthy behaviors of Kansas children. Two of the healthy behaviors are ensuring proper nutrition and increasing physical activity. In order to work in these areas in the future, it will be imperative to build strategic relationships with key individuals in the state. The Foundation proposes selecting future Fellows who have the potential to positively impact the areas of healthy community design and local foods, with the goal of improving their capacity as catalysts for change.
