Grant Purpose:
to improve physical fitness among J.C. Harmon High School students, their families and Wyandotte County. Students at Harmon High have stepped into a leadership role with the school district in developing vacant grounds surrounding their school into a 'HUB for Health,' where people can participate in planned activities and exercise/training programs. This grant is primarily intended to pay for contract employees and personnel to train students.
