Grant Purpose:
for the Everybody Reads program to strengthen literacy skills among preschoolers in Nemaha, Marshall and Washington counties. Child care centers and preschools will be provided with books and an activity kit to encourage interaction, comprehension and messages from the books including the importance of healthy eating and physical activity. This grant is intended to pay for staff, travel, office supplies, printing, books and activity kits.
