Grant Purpose:
for the 'Educating for Public Health' project will help develop two courses in public health, which the university hopes to offer for general education credit, in addition to creating a minor in Public Health. This will be an opportunity for future community leaders and decision-makers in many fields to gain a broader knowledge of public health. The Health Foundation grant is intended to help pay for staffing as well as travel to conferences related to public health topics.
