Grant Purpose:
for the Eat Smart, Play Hard program to reduce the risk of chronic diseases among low-income children and families in Sedgwick County. The project will provide monthly sessions on healthy eating and increasing physical activity. It will also provide tools to encourage more physical activity at home. This grant is intended to pay for healthy snacks, educational materials and printing expenses for cookbooks and newsletters.
