Christopher Power
Christopher Power oversees the planning and implementation of internal and external communication strategies and programs in support of the Foundation's mission. He also works closely with the president and vice president for programs in establishing, managing and maintaining strategic planning and evaluation for the Foundation to assure the highest level of accountability in organizational capacity and grant making.
Power joined the Foundation in 2000 after earning his bachelor's and master's degrees in communication at Wichita State University (WSU). During his graduate study, Power taught public speaking and was a research associate for the Interdisciplinary Communication Research Institute at WSU. He has published research in the areas of small group communication and leadership, received a top paper award from the National Communication Association and was recognized with a National Collegiate Communication Arts Award. Additionally, Power continues his involvement with his alma mater as a member of WSU's Elliott School of Communication Advisory Board.
